After an impressive win over Keller on the road last week, our Varsity boys had to go "Once more into the breach" against the 4th and final State Top 15 Ranked team on the schedule, the Coppell Cowboys.
Though the outcome wasn't the desired one, once again, the Boys refused to quit and scrapped till the final gun as the frozen scoreboard belied the gritty effort on both sides of the Texan ball.
And now, in spite of a few more checks in the loss column than the win column with 2 games remaining in the season, parity in the 7-5A District means that if our Texans can make a statement against respectable Keller Central this week and then dominate the Rough Riders on Senior Night the following Friday, this bunch of Die-Hards will be in the Play-offs in only the 2nd year of the new program.
